Abbeville Housing Announces Arlene M. Livingston as the New Executive Director

Arlene M. Livingston brings more than 17 years of experience in public housing and housing administration to her role as Executive Director of the Abbeville Housing Authority. Her career has included leadership in Finance, Compliance, Public Housing, Resident Services, Property Management, and Affordable Housing Development.

Throughout her career, Ms. Livingston has focused on strengthening housing programs, maintaining HUD compliance, developing staff, improving operations, and providing quality services to residents. She is a hands-on, collaborative leader who believes in open communication, teamwork, accountability, and maintaining an open-door policy for both staff and residents.

Ms. Livingston is passionate about affordable housing and believes that quality housing provides individuals and families with stability, opportunity, and a stronger foundation for the future.

As Executive Director, she looks forward to working with the Board, staff, residents, and community partners to build upon the strengths of the Abbeville Housing Authority and continue its commitment to serving the Abbeville community.
