A meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held at the Mary Chase Ford Community Center at, 510 Haigler Street, Abbeville, South Carolina on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, a notice of the meeting date, time, place, and the agenda was posted online and on the bulletin board at AHA and made available to the local news media and concerned citizens.

- Approval of Minutes - Chair Harrison asked for a motion to approve minutes of the regular monthly meeting held on September 15, 2025 meeting. Commissioner motioned to approve the minutes and Commissioner seconded.

Guest: Chair Harrison acknowledged the Prestwick Companies as presenters and asked Director Haqq to provide a brief introduction.
Resolution 2026 - 001: to consider and adopt the Prestwick Companies as Development Partner for the Abbeville Housing Authority.
Resolution 2026 - 002: to approve and adopt the Utility Allowance Schedules and to incorporate the Schedules into the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy, (ACOP).
Resolution 2026 - 003: to consider and adopt the 2026 Flat Rent Schedules and to incorporate the Schedules into the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy, (ACOP).
- Management Report:
- New Business/Action Items - Draft: Rental & Use Agreement for the Mary Chase Ford Community Center.
- Old Business: At a commissioner's request from the Fee Accountant, a report of consultant and other fees will be distributed.
- Announcements: Health Fair Saturday, November 1st, 11AM to 1PM at the MCF Community Center. Also, the selected Deputy Director: Vincent Taylor is scheduled to begin work on or about November 10, 2025.
