Devondaya Murray Joins Abbeville Housing Staff

ABBEVILLE, SC  --- Devondaya Murray recently joined the staff of Abbeville Housing, serving as an Administration/Accounting Specialist.  

Originally from Greenwood, SC, with 12 years of experience, Murray brings her Affordable Housing expertise to the agency. Prior to joining Abbeville Housing, Murray served as the Assistant Property Manager for Greenwood High Apts., partnered with the local Housing Authority and local homeless and DV shelter to provide housing.

Murray has continued her education through Piedmont Tech for her Associate's degree in Business Administration. 

During her free time, Murray enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 

"Ms. Murray is a valuable addition to the Abbeville Housing staff. They bring applicable knowledge in Affordable Housing to the position and will be an asset for the agency. We are excited to welcome Devondaya to the Abbeville Housing team," stated Larry Haqq, Executive Director of Abbeville Housing.   

Abbeville Housing (AHA) serves the Cities of Abbeville, Donalds, Due West, and Lowndesville in Abbeville County, South Carolina. AHA provides 129 units through the Public Housing program. The Public Housing program was established to provide safe and decent housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

The City of Abbeville is located just 85 miles west of Columbia and 45 miles south of Greenville.
